TERMS & CONDITIONS

The WoodEdit website is operated by WoodEdit Ltd.  Every effort is made towards the accuracy of the information provided.  

The products measurements stated on the website are accurate to within 2cm.  

All products are individually made and there may be slight variations to advertised visuals, but the style will be maintained.  Note that wide boards for our larger tables are not always available, but an extra board may be added meaning all will have less width.

All wood used for the furniture is liable to small movement  (ie warping).  This is a natural effect due to the moisture content in the wood being affected by the time of year and natural humidity.

The products that we sell will all be treated with oil unless requested otherwise. Ash is particularly suitable for painting and oil would be detrimental for painting.

Various types of timber are used for our products. All woods come from sustainable sources.

Wood has natural variations to its colour, texture and grain pattern.  This makes your product unique, and we believe will enhance its character.  The furniture is made from solid wood. Changes in humidity and temperature on occasion can lead to cracking in the grain. Every effort will be made to assist if this becomes a problem, but ageing wood is liable to movement.

At time of order it is estimated that it will take 2-6 weeks to complete. This depends on availability  of wood required, and order backlog.   

Shipping prices are for goods to be shipped within the United Kingdom. Shipping to other countries (including Northern Ireland) will need to be arranged with WoodEdit at the time of order. International orders cannot be returned due to costs of shipping.

Orders that have been completed will be shipped as soon as possible if requested. Orders that have been completed with no shipping arranged must be collected within 1 months once the customer has been notified. If the order is not collected this may result in forfeit of the order with no refund.

Delivery 

Delivery will be carried out by one of our delivery companies we are affiliated to.  They will contact you with delivery times and conditions.  For the larger items especially, it is the responsibility of the buyer to ensure that furniture can be delivered to the space required.  Furniture is delivered in the completed state - please ensure you have the space to receive it.  

Delivery costs are calculated by weight as follows:

0-1.5kgs - £10.00

1.5-5kgs - £40

5-15kgs - £60

15-25kgs - £75

25kgs+ - £90

International Orders

We welcome orders from overseas. The cost of shipping will be passed on to the customer directly. Please contact WoodEdit Ltd when ordering to discuss.

Made to Measure 

All furniture is made individually, so if you would like to request variations in size please contact WoodEdit Ltd and we will endeavour to help. 

Payment

Payment in full must be made at the time of order.
